- Credit Union Internal Auditors Networks to Hold First Meeting
The first meeting of the League’s Internal Auditors Network is scheduled for Tuesday, September 9, 2008 at 8:30 a.m. at the Credit Union Center. The half day meeting will focus on the requirements of an Identity Theft Program, Red Flag Guidelines, and the requirements for reconciling address discrepancies.
- FSCC Shared Branching Network Growing Strong on the East Coast
Financial Service Centers Cooperative, Inc. (FSCC),Shared Branching Network, continues to expand on the East Coast by adding credit unions to the network. The $231 million MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) FCU, in Cambridge has joined FSCC to provide shared branching services.
- Credit Union Loans Up, Savings Down in June
Credit union loans are up and savings have declined, and that's causing Credit Union National Association (CUNA) economists to reconsider their economic outlook.
