- U.S. Treasury Launches Direct Express
Familiar to many is the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s campaign to shift delivery of payments from paper to direct deposit called Go Direct. Launched in 2005, the campaign enlisted financial institutions, non-profits and community-based groups to encourage their customers or members to switch to direct deposit, usually during the first week of the month.
